Summer Camp Week #4 / Aug 25th - 29th / Body Contact & Battle and Compete

2014 - 2015 - Select 2016's

This clinic is for players to learn the safe and proper skills of using body contact in hockey. Even though checking isn't technically allowed at this age, learning the 3 steps of checking is very beneficial at a young age and will lead to increased confidence.  3 of the 4 steps/stages of checking will be taught. 1. Skating/Angling 2. Stick Checks 3. Body Contact and Full Body Checking. Players will also put these concepts into game situations in the camp.

Sessions will be lead and designed by Graham Thomas a certified Body Checking coach.

This camp is hosted at Scotia Barn Arena.
